Jess lives in a haunted house because she can’t afford anything else. She’s begrudgingly accepted her poltergeist as an inconvenience akin to faulty wiring or bad plumbing. When the property is bought by a real estate developer who intends to tear it down, the ghost approaches Jess with a plan to save their shared home. As her eviction looms, Jess must decide who the lesser evil is: The spectre who’s been haunting her or the predatory landlord who wants to wipe her house off the map.
