Ashley Newquist is a 25 year old first time filmmaker and 2022 graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. She grew up hearing wild stories about her Dad's work on Universal Studios Florida and decided to document that thrilling adventure with this film. Ashley is interested in exploring all sides of the media and entertainment industry, with a focus on creative development and producing. Ashley Produced and Co-Directed the film. This is a story about dreamers, artists, and innovators working together to overcome epic challenges and create something larger than themselves. Through dramatic firsthand accounts and archival materials, the documentary captures both the raw energy, excitement and uncertainty of pioneering new forms of entertainment.
