Curated together with the Estonian Film Institute, this special online Culture Night presentation celebrates the richness of Estonian short filmmaking through two programmes. Together, these programmes offer audiences of all ages a unique opportunity to discover Estonia's rich cinematic heritage through compelling documentary storytelling and charming family-friendly films. All films are FREE but ticketed and available to watch nationwide from 5pm on Friday 18th September to 11.59pm on Sunday 20th September. ESTONIAN FAMILY SHORTS:&nbsp;A 45-minute selection of vintage short films for younger audiences (age 6+). Featuring imaginative stories and engaging animation, it offers a fun introduction to Estonian animation heritage for viewers of all ages. This programme offers a glimpse into the imaginative world of Estonian children’s animation from the Tallinnfilm era. Klaabu is a big egg-shaped character born from a drop of water. It is a fantastic being who can change shape when we look at it. When it wants to listen to us, it makes itself a pair of ears. In the same way it can have a pair of eyes, arms or a nose which gets stuck in the flower when Klaabu is smelling it. Klaabu can even fly. But as any other kid Klaabu is curious to know about all kinds of things, Klaabu wants to see and understand everything around it. After several adventures Klaabu finds a friend, a character like itself.
