Maitri, an aspiring travel blogger, is stuck. She can't find an audience for her travel-centric YouTube channel, her mother disapproves of her career path, and she's still working through unresolved grief following the loss of her father. Thinking it will make good content, Maitri tags along with her mother and their neighbors, trusted landlord Rajesh and his wife, to a temple during the Navratri festival. When Rajesh gropes her on the way to the festival, Maitri feels shocked, furious, and lonely. She decides to take retributive steps, setting off a chain of events that rocks her tight-knit community.
