Dona Labismina is an animated film inspired by a Brazilian folk tale from Sergipe. The story follows Maria, a girl born with a mysterious serpent companion called Labismina. As they grow together, the serpent eventually disappears into the sea, leaving behind a promise: whenever Maria is in danger, she should call her name.
