Director bio:

Kai Tan is a queer Malaysian Chinese Australian writer-director and actor based in New Orleans. He came to filmmaking after twenty years in finance and business. His work centers on untold Asian stories at the intersection of identity, generational trauma, and psychological horror. "On the Seventh Day" is his directorial debut, grounded in personal history, symbolism and social justice.
