What begins as a fast silent comedy slows into color and dramatic stillness, revealing the weight behind the laughter. The tone is playful on the surface, inspired by silent-era physical comedy, but the rhythm of the movement is relentless. Phil is always moving, always reacting, always recovering — yet never arriving anywhere meaningful. The speed exaggerates how life can feel when it becomes a series of uncontrollable mishaps. The humor masks exhaustion. The end of the film slows to real time and shifts into color. The chaos has ended. For the first time, he is still. He sits quietly on the edge of the dock revealing a major storyline shift. The mood then turns serious.

But in his pre-date jitters, he mistakes his roommate's psychedelic mushroom brownie for a snack. By the time he's seated at the dinner table, the walls are breathing, the food is talking, and dinner conversation feels like a cosmic interrogation. A comedy of errors unfolds and Tyler's mission is simple: survive dinner without revealing that he is, quite literally, tripping in front of his future in-laws.

The film looks at the challenges of delivery work and the complications that arise when dealing with people. It leans into the absurd moments that come from those interactions, shaped by our own experiences in customer-facing jobs and the stories that emerged from them.

In a surreal and satirical world, a refugee family from Absurdistan accidentally sets their new home in the United States of Fabrica on fire, only to discover that Fabrica’s firefighters are utterly useless and don’t know how to turn off fire caused by a spice from Absurdistan. As chaos unfolds, three bumbling firefighters from Absurdistan embark on a bureaucratic and comically impossible journey to reach Fabrica and put out the flames—if they can ever get past the red tape.
