The documentary short follows Mario's journey from complete indifference toward sustainable living to a conscious understanding of the general waste and garbage problem. Through a series of interviews with experts from Zero Waste Sofia, Lam'On, ThriftSheep and RE__, he learns what sustainable consumption is, how to recognize recyclable products and what Zero Waste alternatives can be in an urban environment. The film shows a strong visual contrast between the opening scenes of landfills and the concluding visit to the waste processing center, where Mario sees the entire process of recycling and transforming plastic waste into a usable product. By the end of the film, Mario has transformed from an uninterested citizen into an informed person ready to change his habits, leaving the viewers with the question of whether they too are ready for change.
