Director Biography - Steven Schloss

Steven Schloss is recognized as a Boston certified artist known for his edgy high-concepts, surrealistic visual storytelling and heavy-metal tones. In 2023 he set out to make his first narrative short, WRITER'S BLOCK after a decade of working strictly in the commercial space. Shortly after its festival premiere, the film entered distribution with Cineverse/Bloody Disgusting and is programmed on Screambox as part of their #1 hit original series, Bloody Bites. As Steven continues to carve his path in the narrative world, it's clear he is drawn to stories that lend a heightened tone and believes that cinema should be fun, exotic and bend reality while delivering a high level of emotional intelligence.
