Director Biography - PJ Germain

PJ Germain is a first-generation Indian-Haitian American filmmaker based in Los Angeles whose work explores identity, legacy, and transformation through a genre lens. A graduate of the prestigious AFI Directing program, PJ brings a bold cinematic voice shaped by cultural heritage, personal experience, and a lifelong love of storytelling. His breakout short Ghost Light, starring Abraham Benrubi, received support from the Lucasfilm Foundation and garnered acclaim on the festival circuit. His recent short Bend in the Road is currently streaming on Alex Proyas’ Vidiverse platform. In addition to directing, PJ has built a successful career in post-production, contributing to major film and television projects including Avatar, Piranha 3D, Kindred, and recently the feature films Valiant One and Spin the Bottle.
